Change the tires
  • Scissor Jack
  • Toolbox
  • Tire
  1. Hold the Scissor Jack and use the placement prompt beside the flat wheel. Placing the jack has no minigame.
  2. Use the Toolbox on that wheel to remove the flat tire.Reaction: Time the shown input as the wrench lines up with each screw.
  3. Use a new Tire at the empty wheel position to fit the replacement.Reaction: Time the shown input as the wrench lines up with each screw.

The new tire is fitted and the jack is returned beside the van. Repeat at another flat wheel only if the task still requires it.

Change the battery
  • Battery
  • Toolbox
  1. Disconnect the power cables from the dead battery.
  2. Use the Toolbox to remove the dead battery.Reaction: Time the shown input as the wrench lines up with each screw.
  3. Bring the replacement Battery to the vacated position and install it.Logic: Rotate the board pieces to connect the marked endpoints.

The replacement is installed and the battery task advances. Judge the repair by the task state, not by picking up a Battery.

Change the fuses
  • Fuses
  1. Open the hood and remove the burnt fuses from the fuse compartment.
  2. Hold the new Fuses and use the compartment to install them.Match: Cycle the squares until each column matches its indicated color or pattern.

The new fuses are installed, leave your inventory, and complete the fuse task.

Fill the fuel tank
  • Fuel Can
  1. Find the fuel filler on the driver's side toward the rear of the van and remove its cap.
  2. Hold the Fuel Can and use the filler to pour it in.Aim: Press the shown input when the moving indicator reaches the target zone; finish every set.

A successful pour advances fuel-task progress. Bring more fuel only if that task still has unfilled progress.

Fill the oil reservoir
  • Oil
  1. Open the hood at the front of the van and remove the oil-reservoir cap.
  2. Hold Oil and use the oil reservoir to fill it.Aim: Press the shown input when the moving indicator reaches the target zone; finish every set.

The oil task gains progress after the pour. Use its remaining progress to decide whether more Oil is needed.

Fill the coolant reservoir
  • Coolant
  1. Open the hood and remove the cap from the coolant reservoir.
  2. Hold Coolant and use its reservoir to fill it.Aim: Press the shown input when the moving indicator reaches the target zone; finish every set.

A successful pour advances the coolant task. Continue only while that task still needs coolant.

Fill the brake-fluid reservoir
  • Brake Fluid
  1. Open the hood, find the brake-fluid reservoir beside the fuses, and remove its cap.
  2. Hold Brake Fluid and use the reservoir to pour it in.Aim: Press the shown input when the moving indicator reaches the target zone; finish every set.

The brake-fluid task advances after a successful pour. Check the remaining task progress instead of assuming one container finishes it.

Change the spark plugs
  • Spark Plugs
  • Toolbox
  1. Use the Toolbox to remove the broken spark plugs.Reaction: Time the shown input as the wrench lines up with each screw.
  2. Use the new Spark Plugs to install the replacements.Logic: Rotate the board pieces to connect the marked endpoints.

Both removal and installation must be finished; installing the new plugs completes the spark-plug task.

Change the outrigger hose
  • Hydraulic Hose
  • Toolbox
  1. Use the Toolbox to remove the damaged hydraulic hose at the outrigger.Reaction: Time the shown input as the wrench lines up with each screw.
  2. Place a new Hydraulic Hose where the old hose was removed.
  3. Use the Toolbox again to secure the replacement hose.Reaction: Time the shown input as the wrench lines up with each screw.

Placing the new hose is not the last step. Finish the second Toolbox interaction, then check the hose task's progress.

Repair the satellite
  • Electrical Repair Kit
  1. When it is safe to climb, use the van's ladder to reach the broken satellite dish on the roof.
  2. Equip the Electrical Repair Kit and use it on the dish.Match: Cycle the squares until each column matches its indicated color or pattern.

Completing the minigame finishes the satellite task. Other power faults, such as a dead battery, remain separate repairs.

Repair the door button
  • Electrical Repair Kit
  1. Go inside the van and find the sparking door-control button.
  2. Equip the Electrical Repair Kit and use it on that button.Match: Cycle the squares until each column matches its indicated color or pattern.

The door-button task completes and the door controls can be used again. Do not confuse this with repairing the roof satellite.

Before You Start a Van Repair

  1. Read the active task, not a fixed shopping list

The table covers possible repairs, not eleven jobs that appear in every run. Check which task and how much progress your current van needs before collecting more parts.

  2. Identify the item before carrying it back

Patch #015 added Item Catalog inside the Van Schematic screen. Use that catalog to check an item's purpose, then use the matching repair row here for its action sequence.

  3. Keep removal and installation separate

A Toolbox step may only remove the broken component. Battery and spark-plug installation use Logic; a replacement hose still needs a final Toolbox step. Follow the entire row before checking the task off.

Repair Minigames: Reaction, Aim, Logic & Match

The repair table keeps the action you need beside each step. Use these explanations to recognize the minigame, and follow your current on-screen input.

Reaction

Time the shown input as the wrench lines up with each screw.

Aim

Press the shown input when the moving indicator reaches the target zone; finish every set.

Logic

Rotate the board pieces to connect the marked endpoints.

Match

Cycle the squares until each column matches its indicated color or pattern.

Repair Not Complete? What to Check

Check the component and the active task after each repair, not just your inventory.

  • Look for the task's progress or completion

A successful minigame can advance one stage or one unit rather than finish the entire task. Fluids and multiple flat tires need the remaining task progress checked.

  • Confirm the replacement was fitted

For batteries, fuses and tires, the September HOTFIX #011.1 addressed successful repairs dropping the part instead of fitting it. A part on the ground alone is not your completion check.

  • Use the current departure wording

Patch #015 renamed the steering-wheel prompt from Leave City to Leave Area. Look for Leave Area when the van is ready; do not search for an old label.

  • Check battery and satellite faults separately

The developer's van-systems explanation says a dead battery cuts power to van electronics. Patch #014 separately says a broken satellite disables radar and interior monitors. Finishing one repair does not establish that the other system is working.

  • Recheck conditions around the van

Some minigames can hurt you when failed or interrupted. Check the conditions around the van before committing to a repair, especially before climbing to the satellite. This is not a promise that the van or any outdoor repair point is safe from every storm.

Coverage and version limits

  • If your displayed task or controls differ, follow the current in-game instructions rather than forcing an old input sequence.
  • No fixed spawns, guaranteed routes, item probabilities, or fixed fluid quantities are provided. The active task determines what is still needed.
